The increment of displacement per unit time is velocity. Speed ​​includes linear velocity and angular velocity. Corresponding to them are the linear velocity sensor and the angular velocity sensor. We are collectively called velocity sensors.
In robot automation technology, the rotational motion speed is measured more often, and the linear motion speed is often indirectly measured by the rotational speed. For example: a speed measuring generator can convert the rotational speed into an electrical signal, which is a type of speed sensor. The tachometer requires a linear relationship between the output voltage and the speed, and requires a large output voltage steepness and good time and temperature stability. Tachometers are generally divided into two types: DC and AC. The excitation method of the DC type speed measuring machine can be divided into two types: separately excited type and permanent magnet type. The armature structure has slotted, hollow, and disc printed circuits. The slotted type is the most commonly used.
Laser velocimetry
With the rise of today's precision manufacturing and the need to save costs, non-contact speed sensors will slowly take contact type speed sensors. Now, the most accurate and most commonly used non-contact laser speed sensor on the market is the ZLS-Px aberration speed sensor. The aberration speed sensor has two ports: a transmitting port that emits an LED light source, and a high-speed camera port that realizes high-speed imaging contrast of the CCD area. Through the two-time image comparison in a very short time, it can distinguish the movement of the measured object. The distance, combined with the algorithm inside the sensor, outputs the speed of the measured object in real time. ① LED light emitting port, ② camera receiving port, ③, ④ terminal, ⑤ fixed screw hole. ① The LED light emitting port emits laser light toward the measured object, and after reflecting to the camera receiving port, it receives the signal and transmits it to the signal processor, and calculates its speed through an algorithm.
ZLS-Px aberration speed sensor can measure the speed and length in two directions at the same time. It can not only detect whether the measured object stops, but also the movement direction of the measured object. The sensor is fixed on a stable support to ensure that the rotating object does not generate excessive vibration during the rotation process, so that the rotation angle and the rotational speed of the rotating object can be measured.
Radar velocimetry
The traditional speed measurement is mostly measured by rotary motion speed and linear motion speed, but there are many irregular speed measurements in real industrial automation, such as athlete speed measurement, traffic vehicle speed measurement, golf speed measurement, etc., radar speed sensor can Meet these requirements.
