There is only one requirement for the operation of the ultrasonic oil level gauge, that is, the working surface must be free of impurities, and air is also an impurity for the ultrasonic oil level gauge.

The ultrasonic oil level gauge emits and receives on the same side when it is working, so it will have a vibration range while vibrating. This range is its blind zone.

Use tips:

1. Apply the coupling agent to the surface of the ultrasonic oil level gauge. Don't apply too much, just cover the surface of the probe.

2. Clean the bottom of the tested container.

3. Find a container with a flat bottom. If you can't find it, if you don't want to be precise, you can find a large mineral spring level with 90% water. Reduce water and see if data changes.

4. If you want to measure more accurately, install it on the bottom of your own container. Avoid the fuel filler, ribs, joints, oil outlets, partition baffles, etc. during installation.

When in use, the ultrasonic oil level gauge can be imagined as a ruler. It emits ultrasonic waves from the probe part, which is equivalent to the start of the ruler. When the ultrasonic wave hits the liquid surface, it is equivalent to the ruler stopping at this position and reading the measured value. If the ruler is skewed and not straight, then the measured value we read is not close to the true value.
