First of all, take a look at this product. The floating ball water level sensor uses a magnetic float to change the liquid level up or down to cause the reed switch chip in the tube to engage or disconnect, thereby sending a signal. The instability of the float-type water level sensor is mainly manifested in two aspects: the float will be stuck and the detection accuracy will be affected.
Therefore, when the liquid is in a viscous state or contains impurities, it will also cause the floating ball to become stuck. Once the floating ball water level sensor is stuck and cannot operate, the water level cannot be detected normally. And the floating ball water level sensor contains a ring magnet with magnetism which will adsorb impurities in the water for a period of time, scale will be generated, which will cause the floating ball to increase weight, which will affect the detection accuracy.
The reason why the performance of the floating ball water level sensor is unstable is due to the principle of the floating ball switch and the appearance design, which is unavoidable. If you want to change the current state, you can use other more stable water level sensors instead of the float ball water level sensors. At present, a new type of photoelectric water level sensor has appeared on the market. It uses a near-infrared light-emitting diode and a photosensitive receiver. It uses the principle of reflection and refraction of light at the interface of two different media to detect the change of liquid level.
The light emitted by the light-emitting diode is directed into a lens on top of the sensor. When the liquid immerses the lens of the photoelectric level switch, the light is refracted into the liquid so that the receiver cannot receive or can only receive a small amount of light. If there is no liquid, the light from the LED is reflected directly from the lens back to the receiver. It is judged as a waterless state, which will remind you or stop working. Then there will be no dirt in the water level sensor, and the liquid level accuracy of the photoelectric water level sensor can be controlled within ± 0.5mm. The water level sensor has no frictional movement, high reliability, longer application time, and there is no defect of floating ball jamming, and the application scene is wider, and the installation process is simpler.
